Does anyone remember Dr. Demento???

Oh my goodness, yes I do. We use to listen to him after church on Sunday nights at a friends house. I was in my late teens.

"Fish heads, Fish heads, rollie pollie Fish Heads. Fish heads Fish heads eat them up yum!

Oh, and yes I crank some PF tunes in the car when I hear them.

A George Michaels look alike came into the store last night and I just couldn't stop singing, "Wake me up, before you go go .... . [&:]

bzirk -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/14/2008 10:59:49 AM)

I have always hated that song and the band's name too. A truly irritating piece of, ur, I'm not sure what to call it. [8D]

Wham? Whatevah. [:D]

doinkdom -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/14/2008 11:03:02 AM)

I remember when Mr. Michaels got all "sexed" up with that one album and all I kept thinking was..

[:D][:D]

just ain't right the way some people go from one extreme to another ya know

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/14/2008 11:10:04 AM)

I have no idea what y'all are talking about. [8D]

And it's not because some people think I'm a whippersnapper. [:D]

It's because it's nice and comfy cozy here in this cave that I call my abode. [sm=pinkhairsmile.gif]

doinkdom -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/14/2008 11:13:40 AM)

ok...well, what would coax you out of that cave every once in a while

ya know, so you can build up your pop-culture skills?

everyone's head should be full of useless pop-culture information just like mine[;)]

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/14/2008 11:15:19 AM)

LOL!

I'm not exactly sure what would coax me out . . . but keep talking' I'm very much enjoying living vicariously through y'all. [:D]

doinkdom -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/14/2008 11:27:51 AM)

It's fun to live vicariously, isn't it?

I do it all the time with friends who do things like parasailing and mountain climbing.[:D]

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/14/2008 11:30:29 AM)

And then you could teach me all about Dr. Diminutive or whatever his name is. [sm=icon_smile_tongue.gif]

doinkdom -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/14/2008 11:33:32 AM)

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/14/2008 11:35:05 AM)

About seven years ago we had nine relatives (aunts, uncles, grandparents, my dad) and one really close friend die in one year. Even now it's hard to think it really happened.

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/19/2008 11:36:57 PM)

Oh wow; that must have been such incredibly hard years for y'all.

bzirk -> RE: Where are all the 40+ church workers and theologians (5/20/2008 1:28:59 AM)

It wasn't as bad as it sounds. I think the Lord just covered us, and we were able to let all of them go in peace.
