While we wait for draexo to let us know what he wants people to stop doing...
I can report that my MIL is, maybe, starting to see the errors of Osteen's teachings. She made a comment the other day that stunned me in my living room, "eh, he keeps talking about the same things.................."

She's back already? I thought you said she moved out! 
She just left on Tuesday of this week. Her comment was made on Sunday, I almost spit out my frosted corn flakes.
It does say "your sins will find you out."
Those who really do want to know the truth will eventually
"see" what's going on right under their noses.
That sounds like a good first step.

That's about how long it took me.
When I began repenting, I became aware of more and more.
Awareness, repentance, awareness, repentance, awareness, repentance . . . . .
It doesn't end. lol.

To be honest I have only read the OP initial thread. But my opinion on Olsteen is that he is probably a good hearted person with exttremely good intentions. In fact probably better intentions than all the mainstream preachers on television. However, the gospel of self help and prosperity makes him totally miss the mark on what he should really be preaching. He should be preaching on repentance and sin and living the Bible standard instead of just a feel good God is love gospel. Now, yes God is love and that should be boldly proclaimed but also since God is just it is imperative to preach judgment and against sin also. Therefore, Osteens gospel is unbalanced and has lost its salty savor.
