My Lord, He is the Wonderful Shepherd
How Jesus fills my soul
He giveth me rest upon the land
He places my soul within His tender love
Never does He take me down the road of heartbreak and pain
No calamity shall overtake me for my Lord's Light shines by my side
The Lord and His army are my Knight in Shining Armor that stand for my protection

I cling to Jesus, Oh, how I love You so,

To Find Some Truth You revealed for that day
Find even more in what I read the day before
Jesus never ceases to amaze and please

My Present for my birthday to my Lord Jesus...
Jesus help me to love in lighthearted Christian fun
To be in love at the same time with the person who loves me.
Am shifting into neutral zone,
My Jesus is comforting me.
Will recover as I always have,
Everyone goes through it.
We have to love, get hurt love, get hurt before it gets right.
This is one reason our Heavenly Father sends the Comforter
and Jesus intercedes.
Am praying for the good of all.
God pick the mate especially for me who can serve You.
Finally told My Lord Okay, I'll just serve You alone...

Well mine aren't exactly love songs..they're poems I recently wrote..i was studying for a test I had today and the Lord inspired me to write the following:
Salvation through the eyes of a doctor (to-be)
"My heart was like that of an infarcted heart.
Hypertrophied, its walls necrotic.
Its atriums collapsed. The chronicity of the ordeal leaving it lifeless.
With no contraction force. Its blood spilled.
Its cells ischemic. Without the breath of life.
But one good day. God dressed in courage and sent His Spirit.
Transfused my heart with the blood of Christ.
He oxygenated it with Eternal Life. Breathed the Spirit of life into it.
Repared its collapsed walls. Eliminated its necrotic tissue.
Covered its scars. And saved my life.
I will always remember that grand day with great Joy!"
And this other one in spanish,

Ulceraron mis heridas.
Bacterias malignas
desbordaron purulencias.
Amenazas desde fuera

These feelings for him have been making me crazy
Love can just make things so hazy
I can see we are not going forward or can I touch his heart
I have been so busy loving him that I could not see
Until now that he made no time to fall in love with me
I had to let go my heart can take no more
Not trying to make him feel guilty or bad
Won't live out my life continuing to feel sad
Just reclaiming my heart
Resting in the arms of Jesus for comfort
which is where I belong.

Hello everyone!
I've been away from the forum for awhile. Not by my choice. I've been having tech problems with the site.
Well it was a joy to come back and discover this thread. Reading everyones heart felt praises to Jesus is refreshing.
I don't know what you think of prophetic poetry. This is written in the first person. What I mean to say is the poem is something that Jesus might say if He were to write a poem.
I saw a Vatentine poem here. I know this poem comes really early but in case there is someone who needs to hear how much Jesus loves them, this is for you.
Dear Heart
Your broken heart I seek to wed.
To your aching soul My Soul is led.
Your heart is very much like My own
Wounds of sorrow I too have known.
When will our wounds meet,
and with kiss of love our broken hearts greet?
Then wounds will transform into flowering beds,
And roses spring where wounds have bled.

When given to My compassionate care.
My greater wound shall open wide
And swallow your hurt so deep inside.

Tribute to my Jesus-
Those things the Lord shares and continues to share in the wee hours of the morning as I wake from wonderful dreams, restful sleep and in scripture he recalls to my heart are the strength of my day and the days to come.
Oh my gosh! How I love my Heavenly Father. He is my Protector, my knight in shining armor. So wonderful to have Jesus as my best friend.
The Holy Spirit whispers Holy messages so softly as I rise.
I love my Heavenly Father, my Jesus, my Holy Spirit!

Who is more worthy than God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit to have a love song written to or sang to?
Here is some of one of my favorite love songs to God. I did not write it, but nonetheless, I love it. I think it is by Sandi Patti.
...And so I'm waiting, for another time and another place. Where all my hopes and dreams will be captured with one look of Jesus face. Oh my hearts been burnnin', my soul keeps yearnin', sometimes I can't hardly wait, for that sweet, sweet someday, when I'll be swept away, to another time and other place...
