Jars of Clay's Furthermore and Who We Are Instead are incredible. I LOVE the way they took their old songs and gave them a real blues/jazz feel on Furthermore. That's my favourite disc now. I hadn't really liked them since their self titled, but now they keep getting better and better. I really want their hymn album they just put out.

in my (rarely) humble opinion, the father of Christian rock would be Larry Norman (apologies to them south of the ohio river who'd vote for Mylon Lefevre). if you can find it, listen to the L-N tribute album featuring folk like Grammatrain, DC Talk, Geoff Moore, etc. near 35 years after the fact, the material stands up. p-s, if you find it, let me know where!

dcTalk FFH Third Day and Commissioned. They've been disbanded for a while, but Fred Hammond and Marvin Sapp have had a very successful solo career since then.

I love christan bands most of the punk bands and other ones posted but one i didn't see that i love is Thousand Foot Krutch -"This is a call" is my favorite song by them. Superchic[k] is really good and Barlow Girls, and so many other i listen to a christian radio station all the time. So I listen to all the bands that play more of today music

In no particular order: Jeremy Camp, Rachael Lampa, Building 429, Newsong, Tait, Tobymac, DC Talk, Sonicflood, Jars of Clay, Chris Tomlin, Third Day, Tree 63, Paul Colman, Claas P. Jambor, Jars of Clay, Ray Boltz, Matthew West, Jay Hagy I've seen Jeremy Camp, Rachael Lampa, Newsong, Tait, Tobymac, DC Talk, Tree 63, Building 429, Paul Colman, Matthew West, Jay Hagy, and Claas P. Jambor in concert. All of them did a fine job. Jay Hagy, Building 429, Paul Colman, Tree63, and Claas P. Jambor were all at a local youth rally called youthquake that happened at 7 for 3 days. Jeremy Camp was there last year.
