I've recently purchased a CD from a new group "The Turning" which leans towards Christian Rock. It's really quite good, a band to keep an eye on. Phillips, Craig, & Dean have a new one out and from the samples I've heard, it's a winner!

ORIGINAL: Nada Now anybody heard of Kekal? or Across The Sky? maybe One Hundred Hours? How about Sky's the Limit? Blindside? Anberlin? Oh well, I can try... I actually have not yet been able to hear Kekal actually. But I hav e been rather interested. What do they sound like? Blindside!! Blindside is my absolute favoritist of favorite bands. I think anyone who han't heard them should check it out. Like I've been saying, great music, and even greater lyrics. Powerful, soul-stirring lyrics. ^_^ Some of thir songs send a wonderful chill up my spine everytime I hear them. Also, they're not too preachy, but at the same time, every single one of their songs leaves absolutely no doubt as to where their faith and convictions lie. ^_^ Flyleaf is also a current favorite of mine. They have such a clear vision of what they want their band to be about too. Plus, there's just smoething amazingly cool about a chick who can scream like that. ^_^

Jeremy Camp Bldg429 MercyMe Casting Crowns There are many more, but Jeremy Camp, has to be my fav. His songs just really speak to me. His latest cd-Beyond Measure is just GREAT. Have it in my cd player in car. Hate to take it out. I'm seem to be stuck on the song-Let looks like. Have to repeat that one all the time. Give you glory is another one I get stuck on as well. Give me Jesus is another one.

Casting Crowns, I love their soft rock, strong vocals, and powerful lyrics. Music can be a fantastic way of ministering to lots of different kinds of people (in my opinion) and really uplifts me and strengthens me when I feel kinda low or weak. God Bless

I'm suprised nobody has mentioned Mute Math yet. Other than that, Sanctus Real, Blindside, Chevelle, and Delirious. Then there's Joseph Arthur, who while I find hard to call him a Christian, does have some good music. At least some of his songs are Christian based. The jury is out on him though.
