Also, I just had to call the doctor's office because this got so bad. Looks like I probably have an infection. Good news is that I'm scheduled to go back tomorrow for the follow-up appointment.

Please pray for my 4 day old great niece, she is still in the hopital, may get to come home on Sunday. She may have swallowed some fecal matter at birth, and the tests since have not been very good. Her name is Lillian. Thank you.

Please help me pray for my neighbor. She recently married a really great guy who is working as a contractor in another country. The only way she can live there is to have a job. Well, there was a problem with her application and the only way she can get the job is to have an interview, which may take months. She was all ready to move there last week, but now she's feeling stuck here and they're both miserable.

Woman in labor are so funny. With everything else going on below their waist at that time who's going to be looking at the fuzz on her legs?!
I was blessed to be able to see the Girl being born. Almost the entire process form crowning to delivery (and was still there to feel M's delicate hands crushing mine as she lovingly said "YOU! YOU did this to me!!!")
(OK so that last is a fib. She had a very easy delivery.)

the doctors appointment went as well as could be expected. he was surprised at how damaged my back was considering my age. He wants to start off with the safer treatments before moving to more drastic treatments such as surgery. I am scheduled for a steroid epidural on May 27th. The idea is that the steroids will reduce the inflammation, which will reduce the pressure on the nerves and ligaments, which will hopefully help the pain and mobility. He signed my FMLA paperwork. After the company approves the FMLA I will be able to take the really bad pain days off work without using up my vacation or risking my job. My supervisor has been great through this whole thing. He has been very supportive and willing to work with me. He just wants me to get better and he isn't willing to lose me as an employee so he will fight to keep me.
I've also been put on a new pain med that hopefully won't make me quite so sleepy and foggy. Please be praying that I will get a break from the pain. It is currently really bad and it is wearing on me. I'm getting frustrated with my limited mobility and the comments from some of my coworkers.

I was on steroids with my back - it took two rounds of oral ones to get it to finally release so I could have some mobility. They worked. I will pray that this works for you too - I was SO thankful for them.

Praying S4L. God is in control and He still heals. (Sometimes he uses doctors to do it though)

Just an FYI...my coworker and her new 7 lb. 2 oz 21 inch long baby are doing great. Both are healthy and happy and she said she appreciates the prayers sent her way. It's an amazing testimony to her because she's not a believer but the fact that there were strangers all over the US praying for her and the baby says a lot about Christians.

My grandfather had another stroke yesterday. This time, the stroke caused what appears to be some serious, possibly irreparable damage. Please pray for healing and for comfort for my mom and aunt. Thank you.
