Thanks. With God ALL things are possible, and I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me! There have been several verses that I have clung to for dear life during this season of difficulty. But I know that Jesus will never leave me and that's a huge comfort too. I appreciate your prayers so much.

I have my big interview tomorrow at 9am. It will be with the manager from the company that took us over, my current manager and the regional manager. Nothing like feeling ganged up on! Actually, I'm not really feeling anxiety over the interview. I'm usually surprisingly calm and relaxed for interviews. I just pray that I do well for the interview. I know that's all I can really do as the rest is in God's hands.

Thanks!

The air condition is out at house.

Called the landlord and he is supposed to have someone over here to fix it tomorrow. Praise God it's rainy and cloudy today and wasn't too hot when we got home.

Pray that it's fixed quickly because I do not deal well in heat/humidity for long periods of time.

Thank you Lord for working fast!

The air conditioner guy just left and said the motor was out and he has to order a new one. He gave me a window unit to use and so far it's working quite nicely.

God has been AWESOME today. My eyes are sensitive to light and I accidentally left my sunglasses at my mum's last night when I dropped off the Things. I was so worried about my eyes burning on my drive home but it was cloudy and quite rainy so mah eyes didn't burn! *dances*

Please remember my cousin, Angela, in prayer. She has had Endometriosis for some time and has delayed treatment. Today she was in surgery and they did a complete hysterectomy. There was supposed to be another surgeon who would stand by if her gall bladder needed to be removed. He wasn't there and it does need to be removed, so she'll have to go in for surgery again. This is going to be very rough on her and she will need strength.

If you wouldn't mind, my kitty could use some prayer. Seems she has picked up another urinary tract infection (crying out in pain when trying to use the litter box). I'll have to take her to the vet again and probably have to give her medicine for two weeks like last time. And the vet bills have put a tremendous strain on my budget. (I was finally caught up, too! ARGH!)

Any cat-parents want to hazard a guess as to what I might be doing wrong? I mean I clean the litter box every day (day-and-a-half absolute tops), replace it completely every month, always make sure she has fresh food and water... I don't get it.

Praying for Macy! What kind of kitty food is she eating? My vet recommended the expensive brands saying they prevent urinary tract infections (not that I've followed her advice, but that's what she said).

Agree on checking the type of food. Also have her checked for feline diabetes. It's a simple blood test. Not sure of what the cost would be. It could explain the frequent infections??? Ask the vet.

Praying for each need.

Just an update on my request. I had my interview this morning and I lived to tell about it. I actually think it went well. I was very thankful to have my current boss in there with me as he verified a lot of my answers and actually had a lot of input that was very favorable for me. And after the other company's two managers left he told me he thought I did very well. So, now it's out of my hands and I just have to wait for the decision.

Air conditioner is still out. I was nice to the Things though and sent them to my mum's for the night.

He's supposed to be here tomorrow so pray it all goes well.

My brother's divorce is final. The judge hasn't ordered him to sell his home of 22 years. Unfortunately, the settlement comes to about $10,000 more than he can raise right now. I'm not in a position to help (and I'm motivated to, believe me) nor is anyone else in the family, so J may have to sell the house anyway. Please pray for God's provision in this.

I've had to move three times in five years. I don't want to make it four times.

Please keep praying for my dd. She has applied to Walmart, Krogers and one other place in KY. She needs to have another job tied down before she officially quits the nannying job. I got all the details of the confrontation, and sure enough she can't keep working for these people, and just like always it's not her fault. Sometimes it makes you wonder what God's thinking. This is like the third time she's had a job where she did everything right and still ended up losing the job.

Also, she and The Beau are doing well, but the parents are still bizarre. They invited The Beau to participate in his little brother's birthday party...and then called him up and UN invited him because it would "add too much tension to the celebration". Weird. And sad. DD loves the guy, but wonders if she should cut off the relationship until he can get things fixed with his parents...but then, would he be able to get things fixed at all? So...sheesh.

Please pray for me, too. Scheduling this fall has already started, and because of my family situation it is quite complex and difficult. I'm wondering if I really, really need to finish school--I really thought that's what God wanted, but trying to work it all out seems soooo difficult. I feel I'm abandoning my children, except that there's no other way that I can see for me to make a decent living.

Middle dd is not responding as well as I'd hoped to my leadership, which means that it's possible I'll have to carry out my threat to put her back into private school instead of home school. She made promises, but...

It seems pretty overwhelming today. I know many of you have much worse situations than mine and I feel silly asking for prayer for my little problems in the face of yours. I hope you don't mind praying anyway.

You concerns and struggles are no less important than anyone else's situations. Please don't feel "off" in requesting for our prayers. It's a privilege to pray for our sisters and brothers. Know that we care, that we're praying, that God will help you through your decisions and concerns, and that he'll give you peace and see you through this.

tsk..tsk...esther. you better go read my devotion from yesterday. it addressed exactly that! of COURSE your needs and concerns are worthy!! God doesn't place values on His childrens worries...any more than you do your childrens'. if it causes you/them pain, confusion, worry...it's IMPORTANT!

so i'll be praying...along with everyone else. ((((esther and family))))

I feel like I am really fighting a terrible cold or worse. I got hit real hard about 3 weeks ago and even though I got better I haven't felt totally back to normal and now I feel myself heading back the opposite direction again. I think it's a combination of the stress at work and also this goofy weather we're having. We had a couple days where it was so hot and humid and now we're back to needing coats out again. I just can't afford to get sick again now that I'm hopefully going to be heading into a new job.

And speaking of job....I think I might have it. Two different people with the company that bought us "slipped" by congratulating me on getting the job. The thing is, the powers that be haven't officially told me. And I got a couple different emails with different passwords and such for their different systems...which I don't think they would be sending me if they were going to get rid of me. So...I don't know if I should get excited yet!?!?!? Sigh The waiting part is the toughest!

Requests:

#1 -- I got my letter from the school district this past week, as did about 15 other people, saying that due to budget cuts we no longer have jobs. Prayer would be appreciated concerning my job situation. I have summer custodial until mid August, but after that, I don't know what the Lord has in store for my kiddos & me.
yep, I always prefer those neon signs w/ arrows telling me "THIS WAY! HERE'S THE JOB FOR YOU!" .. but yeah, lots of the Lord's leading would be good right now.

#2 -- I need wisdom concerning my children. There have been so many hurts and disappointments over the past several weeks. I need wisdom to know when to open my mouth & when to keep it shut.

#3 -- Youngest will be going to spend several weeks w/ his father -- the twisting & munipulation gets very hard on him - he sees it for what it is, but it's hard for him to stand up for himself & I tend to worry...

#4 -- My daddy is going in for a biopsy (is that how you spell it? ugh! it's late & i'm sleepy) this Friday.

And praying for all other requests. Our God is an awesome God and He is mighty in power & in control of all things -- Isn't that amazing? Aren't you glad that He is in control & not us?
