Father please give people a willingness to forgive . Those who no longer are in love , Father make them understand that love can grow and be better than it was before if they just hang in there and try . Please work in all these relationships . Lord I stand in agreement and ask for miracles to happen.

We ACCEPT the demise of our marriages today in this wonderful country.

We feel helpless as we watch marriages fall apart.

Father, please bless them and show us a better way, and heal our land, our marriages and our families.

Father, today I would like to lift up each and evey marriage to you. Grab them and insert the things back into them that are missing and make them even better. Put that love ,kindness, patience understanding, and unconditional love that is supposed to be there if it is missing. Let both the men and women sit back and realize that you are in control and we should look to you for answers. Marriage is not an easy thing at all, but then again what is easy. Bless both broken marriages and also bless the marriages that are stong and continue to keep them going strong. I would like to thank you for lifting me up in my moments of weakness and being there for me. I will continue to look up to you father and I always will. In Jesus' name i pray ......... Amen

Father, Thank you God for what you are doing in marriages all over the world today. Marriage is such a holy union and I thank you that people are understanding that. Today more than ever, marriage is on attack, so I am sure that it will soon be seen as the holy thing it is. I know you are working on my own marriage in this difficult time, because what the devil meant for bad, You are turning it around for the good.

As I sit here, I ask you Father to strengthen me. I am growing weary of the circumstances of my own marriage. I ask you Father to remove my fears. I want to totally rely on You my Father.

The enemy got to me for one second, literally, as I thought of my sister's marriage, now officially crumbling, and I almost didn't post about marriages. I felt weak. But then I remembered that prayer is something satan hates and it works wonders, no matter how things look!!!

So Father, as always, I lift up the marriages so dear to me, and all the ones I don't even know about

Lord, work your miracles, your wonders, and surround them with Your love, including my own special marriage.

Thank you dear Lord. Send your angels. Touch hearts. Please intervene divinely!!!!

Heavenly God,

My Father, I thank You for creating the wonderful, beautiful institution of MARRIAGE. You said in Your Holy Word that a man shall leave his father and mother to be joined to his wife, and that the two will become one flesh.

Lord God, across cultures, classes, and even countries, divorce is so common now. People appear to consider divorce an easy thing, and it seems that many people lack the respect and seriousness towards marriage that You intend it to have.

Lord God! I pray not to condemn divorcees nor to ban laws permitting it, but I pray that You will strengthen and fortify marriages everywhere, even the marriages of non-believers. I pray that anger, hurt, bitterness, wounds, sadness, disappointment, grudges, miscommunication, and any other issue that may exist in marriages everywhere be solved! I pray that Your Spirit shall touch married people so that they will renew their commitments to each other and so that they will give marriage a chance!

God, even Your people today are suffering with broken, struggling marriages. Please fortify and support them! Lead them through your love to apologize, to admit wrongdoing, to seek reconciliation, and to work together so the marriage bonds and vows may be restored and renewed!

Lord God, I am single and one day hope to get married, and give You many thanks that there are healthy marriages. I pray that You will lead Your people to encourage married people who are struggling, through prayer and counsel, and I also pray that You will use Your people as witnesses to married nonbelievers so that these may come to know Your through Christ Jesus.

I pray also for the married friends I have. I pray for JH and JY; for KM and J; for NC and KH; for RC and his wife; for ER and his wife; for M and OK; for JK and JNI. Oh Lord, an assortment of couples, and not all are believers. But may Your love shine upon them and make their marriages work!

Lord God, Yours is perfect love; may it be a model of love between husbands and wives everywhere!

Father I lift up all marriages to you today, both broken and strong. Lord please bless my husband and continue to soften his heart, and open his heart, his eyes and his ears. I know you work wonders father and I will never give up. This is one battle I will not give up on and let satan get the upper hand. Today I will be fasting and praying for my marriage and all other marriages in trouble in the world. Lord we need peace, unconditional love and understanding in these troubled times. Some days I'm up and some days Im down, but I am so thankful to make it to another day to praise you and work on this. Thank you for the wonderful things you are doing in our marriages. Thank you for the marriages that are being renewed and revived. Thank you for this post and all the people reaching out to each other here. Thank you that you have blessed us with an oppurtunity to pray for each other. God I know you are doing great things here and I am so hopeful that marriages are being strengthened. Thank you for keeping our spirits uplifted.

Father I just want to say thankyou for having created marriage between man and woman for us . You created each gender to bring special gifts and talents into the union of marriage . We Lord have messed it up so now there are many misconceptions of what women and mens roles are . Now we can't hold marriages together .
Father I pray You will renew in the hearts and minds of people everywhere just what our roles are too be , and help us desire and work to get back what YOu had planned perfectly .

Father I lift up all men everywhere and seek your blessings and guidance upon . I pray FAther that they will once again be honored and respected as the head of the home ; and Father I pray they will take this role seriously and seek Your wisdom for leading their households .

Father I pray and lift up women everywhere and ask that their be placed in their hearts a desire to step back and allow their husbands to have authority in the home again . Help the women who need it to see submission in a godly fashion as a good thing .

Father help us ALL to understand that what YOu set in place was for our good . The changes we have made to it have reaked havoc on relationships .
We need help to turn back to what You ordained Father .
Give peopple hearts for their spousses . Those who have fallen out of love... reveal to them the person they fell in love with to begin with , and direct them how to renew and restore that missing love .

Father I know what I'm asking sounds impossible by human standards , but I beleive your word . Nothing is impossible for You .
And prayers that Your design be re-implmented can't be a bad thing .
Please Father work mightily in the hearts and minds and lives of people , especially in this country where we have become a ' throw away ' society . When something isn't working throw it away . don't waste time fixing it . has become our way of life and it needs to change Father .
I confess Father that I have tried to take over my husbands role at times with fiances , decision making etc. Forgive me Lord .
Help me to be content to lift him up in prayer when I question his decisions . And Father I thankyou for my husband's strong faith and his relationship with You . I pray others will know what it is like to have their spouse turn their life over to You .

I ask that you come and touch the marriages of our family, friends and nation.

Lord, I ask that you instill a new way of thinking and a Godly way of living with husbands and wives that put you in the center, and help these marriages blossom.

Lord I lift up Drew and Laura, Kath and Joe, Chris and Roger, Carl and Candy, and my own dear marriage to Your highest heights of love.

Father there are many I have come to know or have heard of on this forum whose marriages are in trouble or have fallen apart .
I pray Lord for those struggling this very day . Guide and direct them . Soften hearts and renew love for one another . Remove obstacles that stand between couples so they may reconcile .

Father grant peace to all marriages . Direct people to handle situations in godly manner that they would not inflict pain to one another .
Strengthen marriages , and once again make them holy unions .
