Sarah, Some of the folks are using the Old Time Black and white actresses/actors as avatars for a few days. there is a hollywood thread in community if you'd like to check it out. I think Happydays(marsha) is to blame for it all. ~ezri

Hi Everyone quote:
Ausme, The dandylion was awesome there on the top! What camera are you using? 35mm slr or digital? I used my latest, an Olympus C770 UZ (4MP) for the dandelion. A couple of the other photos were taken with one of the earlier Sony Mavicas (0.3MP!) which used a floppy disk drive for storage - 9 seconds between photos and hold it very still but enthusiasm overcame all obstacles. Some of the very earliest photos were slides I scanned in - taken by a very ordinary Kodak pocket camera. Buddy

I have them on Nikon Net but the site changed the uploading system. I get something going soon. I ran into a problem in life that keep me away from my passion a bit, but I am starting back. I love photography and all the asspects of it, so I have a little of everything "studio props, lighting, enlarger, cameras, filters" well you know.

Digital Fuji Fine Pix S2 Pro does this one have the LCD view screen on the back? if so how do you like it? My daughter had a Finepix point and shoot type we bought for her last year and it didn't take much at all for the LCD to fail. Luckily it has an eye piece on it so she can look thru it and frame her photo BUT she cannot see it till she gets the camera home and loads the memory onto the computer. My 13yo has a Kodak easy share... Point and Shoot. it is 3 years old and it is holding up thru much worse environment than my 15yo's fuji did. My mavica takes a few seconds to record the photo to the disk too. But again I love it! I can take those candids at wedddings and finalize the disk and hand it to the happy couple. the immediacy of the gift is cool! they can take it right away and see what I saw and not have to wait a week or 2 on the professional photog~ though I do not even compare to thier work. They are getting the formal shots and the posed stuff. I am sneakin' round snapping family and friends and snapping off those shots from the pew prespective in the ceremony. Yes it does. It’s a digi camera with a SLR body that supports Nikon F mount lenses. On my aviator there's a small picture of it. This camera won some awards back when I bought it. Truly I was a Nikon lover, but this camera captured my heart. This is one of many high-end cameras. The ISO on the camera is from 100 to 1600 and shutter speed can shoot as high as 4000. I love it. I will try to get my photos uploaded so I can share them with this forum. You might want to check out Photosig. At Photosig look up your camera and check out what people are doing with the type of camera you got. Enjoy your cameras. Best Regards Jess

Hi everyone, I have just found another way of fixing overweight backgrounds. Instead of removing, blurring or darkening, there is now textured backgrounds. Experimentation is endless with numerous textures, even muliple texture layers. I have pasted a Before and After type sequence to my photoblog if you would like a looksee Buddy P.S. Just had a looksee myself. Didn't turn out on the web quite as I had hoped. Perhaps if you enlarge a photo or two you may get the picture, as it were. Just double click on a photo to enlarge it.

Hey Photoman! Thanks for the website. I just found out the camera I want is 8K ! I'd also have to have an upgraded P3 computer to handle the image sizes. Ah well one can dream can't they. Now I wonder if my Nikon lenses will go on a Nikon digital SLR? I have a Fuji Fine pix S2 pro, when I was shopping around for cameras I wanted to buy a camera that would use my manual focus lenses. I had several NIKON lenses that I loved shooting with and I felt comfortable with. The sales people told me that I could not use manual lenses with a digital camera. You get a lot more options using auto focus lenses but manual focus lenses can be used. I bought the camera from a sales man that had (2) S2 Pro's so he knew all the tricks. On the camera lenses mount you have a little switch that moves when you attach your lenses as long as that switch is fully pressed you can use it manual lenses "I think". You might want to consider the Fuji FinePiz S3 Pro. It's a great camera. I think it's an upgrade of Nikon of course depending on the model of the Nikon. Do research before you by. My heart was always on Nikon.

Hi everyone have just posted lots of orchid photos. Wasted lots of time this arvo trying to photograph small spiders in fading light - couldn't hold the camera still enough, long enough. Probably/possibly should have used the flash, ah well, next time There is a vintage car rally next saturday, so i'll look forward to that. buddy

Hi everyone, Just wondered where everyone got to, Miss Giggles - been very quiet in here. Does anyone use Picasa2/Hello/Blogger? I suddenly found that I cannot upload my photos to Blogger using Hello. Then I found I can upload to Blogger by uploading to Flickr first, then into Blogger. Life is a bit more complicated but it is working again. lol Ever heard of a Gigapixel (that's 1024 Mpxls!) camera? Just go to this link and be amazed http://www.gigapxl.com/ Buddy

Hi Buddy!!! I've been busy, but I actually dragged out the camera today to take some photos for our associate pastors resume. I also took some this weekend of the kids watching a storm coming in....I will post a link when I get them up - I was actually watching them outside from inside and got inspired because they just looked so innocent watching the clouds, so I ran and got my camera.

When we get another it will be True Thomas I have already used Fred and Bob and I ain't naming a computer a females name... thats asking for problems. I have been working on getting some photos to my Yahoo photo page. .::Found Here::. Okay, I played round a bit(meaning resize'in to 500 pixels for easy upload) and there are like 25 flower pics and a hand full couple of monument pics in that album link.(I didn't get them all re-sized taking too long to load at 1600x...) I miss being able to just get in the van and go to DC and take pictures. so much neat stuff to snap there ya know. ~ezri
