I know how to get a screen cap - I use them frequently at work.

Fitz needs to have it happen to him.

Sorry about that......

Does Firefox have a status bar at the bottom of the window, Like IE does?

What I did here was I placed the mouse (arrow) over the REPLY link in Post #: 622 , then I right clicked and copied the shortcut....and pasted it in MSWord
And it read…
javascript:void(powin('http://forums.crosswalk.com/post.aspx?do=reply&messageID=3549425&toStyle=tm'))

This one I was able to copy when I clicked the REPLY link after the window came up
This JS appeared in the “Reply to Message window” at the very top
http://forums.crosswalk.com/post.aspx?do=reply&messageID=3549425&toStyle=tm

So all is in order there!

Try the sequence above with a bad link and see if they match
Perhaps there is a difference in the JS window information and it is linking to a window that does not work.... and or compare the paths.
??

Hey Fitz: do you have any computer with Netscape 7 on it?

You can get it here: http://browser.netscape.com/releases I am running the 7.2 english version. Oddly it happens a lot some days (like today) but earlier this week it did not happen at all.

I do, but I rarely use it.

DaveW -> RE: Bug Report (6/27/2008 6:42:12 AM)

That is the system it seems to happen most frequently on.

You should try it today. It is really acting up.

Grace-N-Mercy -> RE: Bug Report (7/2/2008 12:14:29 AM)

I'm using FireFox and if I post a message and get that annoying "You can't post two consecutive messages in such a short amount of time" (IOW: "slow down, silly") message, I can't go back and click ok, even after waiting the alloted 120 minutes. [8D] I have to copy & paste into a new post.

Same problem with PM's.

Still looking into this issue.

Thanks for your patience everyone!

ta_mosquito -> RE: Bug Report (7/2/2008 1:20:37 PM)

I posted in the Wish List thread but decided maybe it's better here.

Since the "in a relationship" relationship status was added, I'm now just in a relationship instead of married. I'm guessing everyone else who was married is now demoted as well. [;)]

I'd change it, but maybe there's a way to do a global change before people start using the "in a relationship" option??

CoeurdeLeon_ -> RE: Bug Report (7/2/2008 2:08:01 PM)

OH! Mine now says I'm married. (I'm divorced)

Fritzpw_Admin -> RE: Bug Report (7/2/2008 3:37:36 PM)

Didn't know it'd do that.

Scrubbybubbles -> RE: Bug Report (7/6/2008 8:41:22 PM)

wow the forums are hiccuping too ... i kept getting new message notifications but i would look and there were no new messages.. then i click on the link from another forum.. and there they all were!

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: Bug Report (7/13/2008 11:05:22 AM)

I am having trouble sending a PM.
Specifically, I am trying to reply to a PM which was sent to me.

I've tried 5 times to send the same PM.

I've closed my browser and reopened it; I've even shut down and rebooted my computer.

Each time I try to send the PM, I get the Server Error in '/' Application / Run Time Error message (and incidentally, the only times I have ever received this error message is when I'm somewhere in Faith Community Network; regardless of which portal I come through).

Thanks,
Sharon-Marie

peculiar_lady2 -> RE: Bug Report (7/13/2008 12:58:25 PM)

I get that when it is a long pm....so I break it up into two pm's and it usually goes through just fine.

humbleinspirit -> RE: Bug Report (7/22/2008 2:07:39 PM)

When I click on this thread "Abortion-Pro life or Pro-Choice?"either in my forums subs or in the folder I get this message:

This message has been deleted or moved, and therefore not available.

Its been that way since last night since new postings have been made in it too.

Grace-N-Mercy -> RE: Bug Report (7/22/2008 2:10:42 PM)

Mike, if you hit the last page number of the thread, that may happen.

humbleinspirit -> RE: Bug Report (7/22/2008 2:12:08 PM)

Yes, I can access it that way, however if I check it either through "my subscriptions" or "Read next unread Subscription" I get that message and on the next unread it gets stuck also.

DaveW -> RE: Bug Report (7/25/2008 12:58:33 PM)

Don't know what you did - but the problem I listed in post 584 seems to have cleared up.

THANKS!!!

BugLady -> RE: Bug Report (7/25/2008 1:04:45 PM)

I don't really have anything to report, but everytime I see this thread I feel like I should be reporting for duty somewhere. [8D]

Fritzpw_Admin -> RE: Bug Report (7/25/2008 4:14:35 PM)

Didn't do anything here.

MyCatSmokey2006 -> RE: Bug Report (7/26/2008 11:22:12 PM)

The only bug I've noticed is that the forums were extremely slow last night, so I gave up and went to another site, since I couldn't read the threads I'd subscribed to because they took too long to load and I didn't have the patience to deal with it. [&:]

Doghouse -> RE: Bug Report (8/7/2008 7:26:49 AM)

I am getting this error when I try to PM somebody - or at least I was yesterday:

Server Error in '/' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Fritzpw_Admin -> RE: Bug Report (8/7/2008 11:39:49 AM)

Did you get my PM?

sgr8ful2god -> RE: Bug Report - Chat (8/9/2008 11:49:43 PM)

I just changed ISPs. I thought it was that at first, but I should still be able to chat, but I'm not seeing it come up at all. It says "Connecting...." but never connects at all.
