How long have you been on Crosswalk?
How many names have you had?
Would you care to list them?

I've been on Crosswalk for only about 6 months now...and (on here) I've always been BrowneyedAL...on many other places on the net I'm known as WildcatGirl but that was taken (apparently by someone who registered but never posted) when I got here so I went to my 'back up' username when I registered here.

I am, and always have been Karaboo2 ... Karaboo was actually a nickname a friend gave me back in elementary school. Whenever I went to use Karaboo for anything, it was almost always taken, so I just tacked a 2 onto the end.

I've been around CW for a few months ...

I joined in June of 2005 I think. My old handle is TheGirlNextDoor. I might be changing it again soon because I like to keep my gaming name and forum names the same. My hubby just changed his to Xterminator, so I might change to Mrs. X since I'll be joining his gaming clan fairly soon. He was Disgruntled Driver before, and Mrs. Driver sounds dumb.

I came on here when the Duggars had #17, so however old Jennifer Duggar is plus add a few weeks, that's how long I've been on here.

I started out with RebekahN (my name and first initial of my last name), then I got embarrassed once about some stuff I said in Women's Only, so I decided to go anonymous, so I picked OneOfHisJewels based on a children's hymn that I loved. Then, when enough time passed I would say my real name, and I eventually posted my picture, but I kept OOHJ, because I like it. I didn't even know this would happen, but because of my username, a lot of people on here call me jewels, and I love that.

I've been on here...I'm going to guess...9-ish years? I don't remember what my first handle was. I just remember posting in teens all the time and then when I turned 18 it was SO weird to post in women's, so I still stuck around teens and young adult for awhile. I'm sure I had a different name the first couple of years, but have no idea now what that was.
Purejoy is from James 1:2-4:
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perserverance. Perserverance must finish it's work so that you may be mature, and complete, not lacking anything."

That passage took on huge meaning for me when I was 17. As I was at home, out of school, in so so much pain, I found that passage. I wrote "Pure Joy" on a piece of paper with a pink highlighter and stuck it on the wall across from where my bed was as a reminder for me.
I still love those verses.

Let's see, started lurking in 2000...started posting sometime in 2002.

I've been stellaluna the entire time. Yep. And I still think of some people by their old names, even though I see the new ones. And I also have enjoyed seeing a lot of kids and grandkids grow up.

Hehe...I did that too. I had a few embarassing posts in my early days, hopefully no one remembers them. I don't remember yours Jewels if it makes you feel better. Yeah, I just kinda stopped posting for a while and then came back hoping no one would remember.

I've been on the forums since, wow, maybe 1998?? For the life of me I can't remember my original name.

I changed to 1verboselittledove after dh and I started courting (he called me "dove" in his language). Then when we came back to the states I was cappuccinosmom, 'cause I was preggers with my first "cappuccino" baby. Since then, I just add numbers to the front according to how many kids I have.

My profile says I joined in 2005, though it was very rare at the time (I didn't have internet where I was living). When I was pregnant with Akeelah I started posting on a regular basis, so late 2006.

I've always been Lexie (I'm not creative enough to come up with other names!)

I've been here since April 2004, right after I had surgery to remove a huge ovarian growth. We had been TTC for almost 3 years at that point. I chose the name blvnghm, which is believing Him without the vowels. People always read it wrong, but I didn't care. I was (and am!) believing Him for good things for my family. When I had been here two months, we discovered Hannah was on her way to us.

I can't remember exactly when, but at least 1.5 years ago (or maybe it was 2.5??), Brian and I were going through a very rough time in our marriage and I was very discouraged and depressed. Cynthia (aka Forums Mother) asked for my phone number so she could pray for me. When she called, she asked for Princess Donna, and I laughed hysterically. The next day, I changed my name, to remind me that I am a princess...a daughter of the King of Kings.

I posted some when I was in late high school (maybe '97 or '98?) under then name "luthien" but I stopped posting because someone told me I was going to hell for my choice in literature and, being the super mature teenager that I was, I got upset and left

I came back when I was in my second year teaching, so that must have been '03-ish. I couldn't remember my old password and all the good Lord of the Rings names were taken anyhow, so I picked "artemis" because I'd just finished reading Artemis Fowl. You'd think after my first experience, I'd know better than to pick the name of a Greek goddess, but I never learn so I've been "artemis" for 5 years now.
