[1] And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded: [2] And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. [3] Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law. [4] But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them. [5] And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries. [6] And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity. [7] Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded I got in an argument with a family member and ended up turning pages in the bible. This is where I ended up. In 1988 a friend, out of the blue, made a point about each individual is a nation. There is a saying, little problems bother little minds. Since my brain is big but my mind is a little off sometimes, I will make my point, If I can't get along with my immediate family, actually I will have problems getting along with God's army. I was in the navy and know what happens when you aren't on guard for yourself..... the whole ship suffers. I am going to leave you with that. Even though it might be a solution for world peace, at least you can have a happy family.

We all have big brains with minds a little off sometimes. That nation of nation, city of city passage got me going on a praise song. Help me, someone. Help me. Chorus: And we all fall down, kings will surrender their crowns(?) at the feet of Jesus... for He is ... well, that's all I can remember. It is one of the slowest praise songs I've ever heard. I have a copy of the lyrics for it: We Fall Down (SD21-20, LS) We fall down We lay our crowns at the feet of Jesus, The greatness of mercy and love At the feet of Jesus And we cry holy, holy, holy And we cry holy, holy, holy And we cry holy, holy, holy is the Lamb I don't have anything that gives the authorship or any clue as to the notation, but I do recall that it was a very slow simply melody. Well, you do have to be the better man no matter who is right or wrong and do whatever is necessary to show love to the family member. You may have differences, but you're still family. I've got a situation where one of my sisters acts like a complete outsider - without going into details I can only say that I'm closer to my "in-law" family than I am to her. The point is, no matter the differences, even if they keep pushing you away, you've got to show love. Since we're quoting songs... When I'm upset about whatever ails me here in this life I remember the words of Horatio Spafford: "When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll; Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say, It is well, it is well, with my soul."
