Just enjoy researching the habits of fellow teachers/preachers Do you keep your sermons/lessons in paper form in a file? Do you keep them saved on the computer/disk? Do you just throw them away and start from scratch each time? or I DON'T USE NOTES just wondering God bless and hope you are encouraged in your ministry!

Do you keep your sermons/lessons in paper form in a file? No. Do you keep them saved on the computer/disk? Yes - on two PC hard drives, on a NAS (network attached storage device), on a 1 terabyte attached storage device, on a RAID 5 server, on my Gmail account and Google documents archive, and on two flash drives. Do you just throw them away and start from scratch each time? or I DON'T USE NOTES I actually prepare/write out my sermons word per word on how I would like to deliver it from the pulpit, behind the mic, etc.. so notes is definitely a yes, but it is more than just notes.

o______o a terabyte? Wow. Whenever I teach in small group, I write out the scriptural references and like, bulletin points because the way I write and the way I talk are two different things, usually. Typed up on computer and usually emailed to myself.

I keep my sermons on a computer disk and a paper copy kept in a file at the church. You never know when something might happen on a Sunday morning to keep you at home (illness, snow strom) and one of the layministers can pull a sermon from the file and church continue without you.

Do you keep your sermons/lessons in paper form in a file? I do both - I have most of my sermon outlines on my laptop and then I try to printout a transcript after I preach it. Do you keep them saved on the computer/disk? On the computer. I have nothing on disks anymore :) Do you just throw them away and start from scratch each time? or I DON'T USE NOTES I normally start from scratch everytime. I've only been preaching for a year now so maybe that will change.
