Suggestion for today: Do something valuable with your online time, like checking out one of my favorites.

Glad you started a PFC thread of your own. However don't forget the ones you have been posting in.

Good morning, Wintery. Did you have chuckled for breakfast, or horrendous coffee at that other place you frequent? Nice to see you have your own spot!

My current avatar, which will no doubt change soon as I always do, is the state bird of Alabama, the yellowhammer.

Just in case anyone was wondering, "Was there an earthquake near me this week?" Bookmark the map for later reference.

I'm in that area where you can't see the coastline because of all the earthquakes, but we're so used to them, they don't even stir us from our sleep unless they're a magnitude 5 or more. Yawn!

I don't want to live near earthquake areas, or volcanoes. I am skeered. I will stick to hurricanes and tornadoes.

Interesting...I looked that one up for everyone's benefit but I refer to the one from the University of Memphis. It shows how many have happened in the past six months.

After looking at that map, I'd think I'd be a little nervous if I lived in Puerto Rico!

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) Sometimes it's good to remember these things.
