How do u know your purpose in life? What is your purpose in life? i've asked myself this questio so many times and yet I never seem to understand or answer these questions. I've struggle with deppression so many times and still struggle with it up to now even after I gave my life to Jesus. I need help and some advice. Sometimes I feel like I can't go on and God's guidence to help me along the way but yet I don't know what's my purpose or how can I be delivered from depression? I've read many countless spirtiual books and often read my bible but i still get depressed. Sometimes I feel as if my life is nothingmore than what it is right now. Please respond.

Well, your ultimate purpose is to bring glory to God. There are tons of ways to do that though, that's what you have to find. For me, it's helping other people. Honestly, I'm called to give time, give money, give everything for the benefit of others in Christ's name. I let my actions preach for me. I don't like giving up stuff for everyone else sometimes, because by human nature I am selfish. But ultimately, I know it's what I'm called to do.

to make it really simple: there isnt necessarily a ONE purpose for each specific person for their whole life. like .. not everyone is meant to be a preacher their whole lives, or a policeman or whatever.
if God wants you to do something specific your whole life, as long as you are open to Him about anything He may ask of you, He will tell you.
i struggled with this some years ago too.
just be who you are, do what you like, but dont sin, try to be a good christian, a good friend, a good example, a good kid to your parents etc etc.
as for depression, it happens. im still personally depressed in some ways (though i kinda get used to it in some ways). i still feel a need to do something that would be important to me but i dont know what. i also want not to be lonely but thats kinda hard in my condition.
but you must understand that those things are feelings. strong feelings maybe they may even stop you from doing things or not doing things, but they are just feelings.

Well i think your purpose is to eventually glorify ur God,however ur life's assignment is different frm that of others...i understand u may get depressed but i think u should hve a clear perspect on who u are first:U are God's creation fearfully and wonderfully made...it doesnt matter what someone/others tell u what God says is final....once u get a clear perspect i believe tha rest shall fall in2 place bit by bit...hve a lovely week

My purpse to serve Him! I guess through the years, I have just come to realize what talents he has given me to go along where my interst is. I feel that God has called me working with the critically ill people and to be anamchara (soul friend) to those who are dying. It not only is where my interst is ( nursing and cardiac medicine) but it also is a place where people are desperate for Gods intervention in their life whether they realize it or not. That is where witnessing comes into play, and spreading the gospel to those who are dying...heaven is a beautiful place. Hope this helps..God has given you an alotment of talents/abilities, I hope you start to realize these and see where you can use them to further the kingdom and make impressions on someones soul.
